New Delhi [India], January 4: Minister for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Steel, Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday hailed off a transfer of basic hardware from Gujarat's Hazira to Odisha's Paradip for Indian Oil's Mono Ethylene Glycol (MEG) plant.
Pradhan pushed on the centrality of MEG project in the improvement of Odisha, saying that with the conveyance of this transfer, the Paradip MEG venture will take a "critical step" towards its charging, which is good to go to play a "vital job" in the monetary advancement of Odisha and its neighboring states.
As indicated by a delivery from the Petroleum Ministry, the over-dimensioned transfer (ODC) development of the hailed off hardware incorporated an Ethylene Oxide reactor, a washtower and a deethyleniser.
MEG is utilized as one of the crude materials for the creation of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF), Polyester Filament Yarn (PFY), and other comparative items.
"Indian Oil's Ethylene Glycol project at Paradip, which incorporates a 180 KTA Ethylene Recovery Unit (ERU) and a 357 KTA Ethylene Glycol unit (EGU), is required to deliver 332 KTA MEG. During his location, Pradhan said that this is a "critical" venture towards acknowledging Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat'.

Sofia [Bulgaria], January 4: Four Bulgarians inoculated against Covid-19 with the Pfizer/BioNTech antibody created mellow to direct results, Bulgarian Drug Agency leader chief Bogdan Kirilov said on Monday.
