27 law enforcement officers injured in clashes near Presidential office in Kiev, Ukraine

Kiev [Ukraine], February 24: Twenty-seven policemen were harmed in conflicts close to the Presidential office in midtown Kiev, the city police said in a proclamation on Facebook. 

Conflicts between the police and allies of ex-top of the Odessa cell of the Right Sector fanatic association (restricted in Russia) Serhiy Sternenko, condemned to seven years for grabbing, occurred on Tuesday close to the official organization of Ukraine in the nation's capital. 

"During the activity, the members utilized shower and flares. They didn't respond to the cops' notice not to submit offenses, so verbal engagements transformed into conflicts. Subsequently, 27 cops and National Guard servicemen got eye consumes," the police said. (ANI/Sputnik)
