1 killed, 1 injured after plane crashes at port of Los Angeles

Los Angeles [US], February 20: One individual was killed and another was harmed after a little plane collided with a semi-heavy transport truck Friday early afternoon at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, specialists said. 

The male pilot of the single-motor plane was pulled from the destruction by onlookers and he "is tragically past clinical assistance and decided perished on scene," said the Los Angeles Fire Department in an occurrence update. 

Another man around 30 years of age, who was shipped from the semi-heavy transport, is in "at any rate" genuine condition, as per the Los Angeles Fire Department. 

The division noticed that the occurrence happened in a secluded territory of the port, and port activities have not been affected. The limited quantity of fuel on the ground from the plane has been gotten by firemen from additional spread. 

Authorities said the reason for the occurrence was under scrutiny and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) had been advised of the accident. (ANI/Xinhua)
