US State Department cancels all scheduled trips amid presidential transition

Washington [US], January 13: The US State Department has dropped all arranged ventures booked during the current week, including Secretary of State Michael Pompeo's visit to Europe, as it did business related to progress for the approaching organization of Joe Biden. 

In an authority proclamation, Spokesperson Morgan Ortagus stated, "We are expecting right away an arrangement from the approaching organization distinguishing the profession authorities who will stay in places of obligation on an acting premise until the Senate affirmation measure is finished for approaching authorities." 

"Accordingly, we are dropping all arranged travel this week, including the Secretary's excursion to Europe," she added. 

Prior, President Donald Trump announced a highly sensitive situation in Washington DC in front of Biden's introduction on January 20. 

The statement of crisis comes after mobs broke out at the US Capitol where favorable to Trump allies unleashed ruin on January 6. In any event five individuals passed on because of the tumult, including a US Capitol Police official. 

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has cautioned about equipped fights being arranged in each of the 50 US state capitals, including the US Capitol working, in the last days paving the way to Biden's initiation, Sputnik revealed. (ANI)
