Washington [US], January 13: All air travelers will be needed to get a negative Covid test before getting onto their trip to the United States starting on January 26, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) declared.

"Air travelers are needed to get a viral test (a test for current disease) inside three days before their trip to the US withdraws, and give composed documentation of their research center test outcome (paper or electronic duplicate) to the aircraft or give documentation of having recuperated from COVID-19," the CDC said on Tuesday.

On January 12, the CDC Director marked the request requiring a negative Covid test that will go as a result on January 26. Carriers should affirm the negative test result for all travelers or documentation of recuperation before they board the airplane.

"In the event that a traveler doesn't give documentation of a negative test or recuperation, or decides not to step through an examination, the aircraft should deny boarding to the traveler," the CDC additionally said. (ANI/Sputnik)
