Bird flu confirmed in Uttarakhand

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], January 12: Uttarakhand on Tuesday affirmed winged creature influenza as tests from Kotdwar and Dehradun have tried positive for fowl influenza. 

An alarm has been given in the state following the affirmation of fledgling influenza and the concerned specialists have been coordinated to avoid potential risk and steps for anticipation of the infection. "Reconnaissance ought to be completed carefully to check the spread," the public authority told authorities. 

Addressing ANI, Uttarakhand Animal Husbandry Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram stated, "The state government has given an alarm in the state following the affirmation of fowl influenza in Uttarakhand." 

"Tests of crows discovered dead were shipped off the Indian Council of Agricultural Research Bhopal. We got an affirmation today that examples from Kotdwar and Dehradun have been tried positive for avian flu," the secretary added. 

Authorities have been told to keep a nearby watch on the transient flying creatures and poultry ranches. 

The Animal Husbandry Department has given a warning to all the District Magistrates in the state to make fundamental strides. 

Till January 11, 2021, avian flu has been affirmed in 10 conditions of the nation. ICAR-NIHSAD has affirmed passing of crows and transitory/wild feathered creatures in Tonk, Karauli, Bhilwara areas of Rajasthan; and Valsad, Vadodara and Surat locale of Gujarat. (ANI)
