World Environment Day: PM Narendra Modi urges people to preserve planet's rich biodiversity

New Delhi, June 05: On World Environment Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Frinday asked residents to guarantee that widely varied vegetation flourish and make a promise to safeguard our planet's rich biodiversity. 

"On #WorldEnvironmentDay, we emphasize our vow to protect our planet's rich biodiversity. Let us altogether do whatever conceivable to guarantee the widely varied vegetation with whom we share the Earth flourish. May we leave a far better planet for the coming ages," the Prime Minister tweeted. 

He additionally shared a clasp from his last 'Mann Ki Baat' program where he referenced about preservation water and ensuring the rich variety of nature. 

"On June 5, the whole world will observe 'World Environment Day'. The topic during the current year's 'Reality Environment Day' is bio-variety. This subject is particularly relevant in the current conditions. During lockdown over the most recent couple of weeks the movement of life may have hindered a piece yet it has likewise allowed us a chance to introspect upon the rich variety of nature or biodiversity around us," the Prime Minister had said.
