Paramdeep Singh, Station House Officer, Punjab Agriculture University Police Station stated, "Around 100-150 young people were celebrating in the eatery. Inn proprietor Manjeet Singh and his chief were transparently serving alcohol to the youngsters. We assaulted the eatery alongside our group. We have enlisted a FIR (first data report) under the Excise Act, Section 188 of IPC and the Disaster Management Act."
